Qingdao University of Science and Technology CSC Scholarship is a scholarship offered by the Chinese Goverment under the china Scholarship council. The Ministry of Education, the Shandong Provincial Government, and Qingdao Municipal Government jointly established Qingdao University of Science and Technology (QUST) in Qingdao in 2001.
The new university is located in Colored Beach New City which lies 10 minutes drive to Jinan Yaoqiang International Airport. The University covers an area of about 860,000 square meters with a floor space of 510,000 square meters. The teaching and research equipment is worth RMB 1.2 billion Yuan.
QUST offers 81 undergraduate programs, 134 postgraduate programs and 30 doctoral programs in Science, Engineering, Economics, Management, Literature and Law. The total enrollment of the university is up to 31,000 students including over 10,000 international students from more than 100 countries and regions.
QUST has been authorized to confer doctoral degrees in Philosophy and Economics by the State Council, master’s degrees in Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics and Material Science by the Ministry of Education, and MBA degrees by the Ministry of Commerce.
QUST graduates have been broadly employed by national, provincial and municipal governments as well as business sectors both at home and aboard. Up to now, among them there are over 25,000 who work in the 31 provinces of China including Beijing Municipality. The university has established close relationships with more than 40 universities from 16 countries all over the world such as the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Japan, Korea and Taiwan for cooperation in various forms.
