Southeast University is a public research university situated in Nanjing Jiangsu. This was part of one of Chinas oldest colleges which was the first co-educational university. It is a Double First-Class university from China’s government. SEU has been named of the world’s top 20 research institutions. Its precursor, Sanjiang Normal College was established in 1902 as a modern university on the campus of an academy that dates back to 258. In 1921 the school renamed itself National Southeast University and became the second national university in the country. In 1928 was renamed National central university.
